Our Periodontist, Dr. Joan Nagatomo, brings a wealth of expertise and a warm, welcoming approach to her practice. With an impressive educational background, she earned her DDS from Niigata University and her PhD in advanced Periodontics from the prestigious Tokyo Medical Dental University in Japan. Returning to the United States, Dr. Nagatomo further honed her skills, completing her residency at the University of Washington, where she earned her speciality Certificate of Periodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry degree (MSD).

Dr. Nagatomo’s philosophy of treating every patient like family shines through her compassionate and empathetic care. She is committed to providing the highest quality treatment to her patients, drawing upon her extensive training and experience across multiple fields of dentistry.
